I walk because my son and I are survivors.

During my pregnancy, I developed severe preeclampsia and Class I HELLP syndrome—life-threatening complications that escalated rapidly and put both of our lives at risk. After delivery, I also experienced a severe postoperative hemorrhage that required blood transfusions to save my life. There were moments when survival was uncertain, and the odds were overwhelmingly against us.

Because of swift medical intervention, we are here today—but far too many mothers and babies are not.

Being given a second chance at life has fueled my passion to take action. I walk to raise critical funds for research, education, and awareness so these dangerous pregnancy complications can be recognized earlier, treated faster, and ultimately prevented.
 

I walk for the mothers still fighting.
I walk for the babies who deserve a future.
I walk so that survival can become the norm—not the exception.
