This year, I'm participating in an event to raise awareness and support for families affected by preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Both are not well understood or well-known to the general public and particularly expectant parents. Postpartum HELLP complications changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful that Alia and I are both perfectly safe. Unfortunately, even in 2026, many families aren't as fortunate.
