This September, I am walking to raise awareness for preeclampsia and to support healthier outcomes for mothers and babies.
Although I have not personally experienced preeclampsia, I walk as a healthcare professional committed to advancing Black maternal health and promoting equitable, compassionate care. Far too many families are impacted by preventable pregnancy complications, and awareness is a powerful step toward change.
I walk to honor those affected, support ongoing education and advocacy, and help ensure that every mother has the opportunity for a safe and healthy pregnancy.
Thank you for supporting this important cause and walking alongside me in the fight for healthier mothers, healthier babies, and stronger communities.
