Event Details
- 10:30am: Check-In
- 10:30-11:30am: Check out booths, gift auction, mingle with fellow survivors
- 11:30am: Group Photo
- 11:35am: Speeches
- 12:00pm: Raffle Winners Annouced
- 12:15pm: Walk kick off and explore the zoo
- Pricing: $18 for all 3 years old+
- Accepted forms of payment for ticket: Cash, Venmo & Paypal
- FYI: Bring additional cash for zoo activites (i.e. feed giraffes, pony rides, etc.)
What is Preeclampsia?
Preeclampsia is a serious disease related to high blood pressure during pregnancy that takes the lives of 76,000 mothers and 500,000 babies each year worldwide. It can happen to any pregnant woman during the second half of her pregnancy, or up to six weeks after delivery. Right now, there’s no known cure for preeclampsia or way to prevent it. That’s why we walk.
