I walk for every mom who hears the words “you have preeclampsia.”
During my second pregnancy, I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and spent over a week in the hospital after Rita was born. Thanks to incredible doctors and nurses, my story has a happy ending. Rita is healthy, and I’m here today because my condition was recognized and treated in time.
But that isn’t the reality for everyone. Too many families experience devastating outcomes simply because preeclampsia isn’t caught early enough or understood well enough.
I walk to raise awareness, to support research, and to help ensure that more moms receive timely care and life-saving treatment. Every step is for the mothers who are still fighting, the families who have lost too much, and the future moms who deserve safer pregnancies and better outcomes.
Thank you for walking with me and helping turn awareness into action.
