Beaux, was born at just 26 weeks after I developed preeclampsia with severe features and was closely monitored beginning at 24 weeks. The fear and uncertainty we experienced in those weeks leading up to her birth were unimaginable. Beaux spent 90 days in a Level IV NICU and has undergone multiple surgeries since coming home.

We walk to honor her journey and to raise awareness about preeclampsia. We share our story so other families can recognize the signs, advocate for themselves during pregnancy, and potentially avoid the trauma that so many of us have endured. By raising awareness, supporting research, and educating others, we hope to create better outcomes for mothers and babies everywhere.
