The journey to motherhood is often imagined as a joyful and beautiful experience. Mine, however, was filled with uncertainty and trauma. As a preeclampsia survivor, I am deeply grateful for the exceptional medical care I received, as well as the endless support of my husband, family, and friends.

I am walking for future mothers, for every partner who wonders if their loved one and baby will make it home, and to honor the mothers and babies who did not survive. I am also walking for myself because this journey has forever changed me.

I hope you will join me on September 27th in Albany as we come together to raise awareness and support for those impacted by preeclampsia.
