We walk because I made it! What was supposed to be a normal joyous pregnancy, was cut a few months short by preeclampsia, with constant blood pressure checks, meds being pushed, and so much more. But I was one of the lucky ones and survived, and was still able to have my beautiful baby and have the best team of doctors by our side throughout it all. We walk to never forget the journey that brought us here, to never stop bringing awareness to preeclampsia, eclampsia, or post eclampsia. Most importantly to celebrating getting our pink back in motherhood!
