At 27 weeks without a diagnosis for pre-eclampsia or eclampsia, Jocelyn progressed to being directly diagnosed with the life-threatening atypical HELLP Syndrome (late stage eclampsia). On top of the diagnosis of Twin-Twin-Transfusion Syndrome, Jocelyn had to deliver the twins at 28 weeks. Unfortunately, with the odds stacked largely against both of them, our precious Graham Finley Babb was lost before we even knew him.

So that cases of pre-eclampsia get diagnosed quickly, treatment options are available, and to improve overall outcomes for mothers and babies. 

As a bioengineer and a data scientist, Jocelyn & Kevin believe more work is needed to fund science in these areas, prevent more similar cases, and improve overall outcomes.
