As most of you know, over the last few years we have received an ASD diagnosis for both of our boys, Eagan and Kieran
Eagan (8) is an incredibly bright boy who loved the Lord and playing Roblox. He will tell anyone who will listen about each game's creator, their stats and all the information you didn't need to hear ? Eagan's biggest struggle is having zero understanding of social cues which make it hard for him to maintain friendship with peers. He may seem as though he's being rude, but I promise that is not his intention. He just graduated from occupational therapy! We're still working with therapists on some behavioral challenges and physical challenges due to delayed motor planning.
Kieran (almost 5) is an amazing guy. We thought he may be nonverbal because he didn't speak until 3 years old. He was diagnosed with level 3 autism shortly after his 3rd birthday. Our biggest struggles are communication and emotional regulation. Kieran works really hard with countless hours of various therapies every week. He has really come so far and we can't wait to see what his future holds!
I’m thrilled to be participating in the Race 4 Resources, ACF's largest fundraiser of the year. I'm calling on you to help me support this mission and organization, which mean so much to me. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and goes directly to Autism Cares Foundation.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
- Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Your support means the world to me!
