Well, Here I go again! For the 3rd year in a row, I will be participating in the EOD Warrior Foundation fundraising bike ride in Paso Robles California. A 46 mile road ride through the wine country to raise money for a great cause.
Last year I prepared by training on Gelato and pasta in Italy. This year I went next level in Germany and Austria where I trained on a strict diet of Schnitzel, Pretzels and very large steins of beer. I've returned home about 5 kilos heavier (10lbs for us yanks). I now have some real motivation to get back on the bike and prepare.
All kidding aside, I'm very proud to support the EOD Warrior foundation and its mission to help injured EOD personnel and their families.This year I am especially honored to help bring attention to the women of EOD as they are being recognized for the sacrifices they make to serve our country.
