I’m thrilled to be participating in the 2026 Rim-to-Rim Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Kidney Donor Athletes, Inc.! IN October of this year, we will hike down from the North Rim, across the Colorado River, and up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It will be 24 miles and 5000 ft of elevation change, all in one long day.

In July of 2025, I donated my left kidney to a gentleman in upstate NY. He is now able to enjoy life with his wife, his two adult daughters and his three grandchildren. I was inspired by the selflessness of the many kidney donor athletes I've met over the past several years, including my husband Chris, who became a living donor in 2020. These are kind, generous people who are also fierce advocates for living donation. But it was witnessing the suffering of an actual kidney patient that served as my call to action. Did you know that there are over 100,000 patients waiting for a donation?

I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Not everyone is called to be a living donor, but you can help in other ways. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
