Dear Special Friends and Supporters,

I am at it again!.....this time I am walking the Runway of Hope... for breast cancer!?

So how did this happen?? Well few years ago, this wonderful group of mostly young and amazing breast cancer survivors came together to create the New England Breast Cancer Alliance, which is based in Maine, to support other local breast cancer patients and survivors with access to a vital survivors group who also raise funds to support other survivors and help them with thriving, research and support.

Then three years ago, these young women, many still in cancer treatment themselves, created the first Runway For Hope. My dear friend, Julie Marchese and I were honored to be the MCs for the first Runway For Hope show. We were blown away with the passion and pure sass of all the models while they stuck a finger in cancers eye!!  It is the craziest event we had ever seen!! ?

After the first show, we debated joining the girls on the Runway some year….but not right away. So I agreed to participate when I turned 70....well THIS is THE year.......so I’m thrilled (ok, scared sh*#tless ?) to be participating in the 4th Annual New England Breast Cancer Alliance 2026 Runway For Hope on April 25th at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, a fundraiser supporting New England Breast Cancer Alliance! This year marks my 27th year since my breast cancer diagnosis....and yes, I turn the big 7-0 just TWO days later on April 27th.?
