TCRAS is formally inviting you to Sit, Stay, and Support our animals by August 1st.
Sit! TCRAS has hosted many events, and we know that sometimes the seats aren't comfy, or life gets in the way, and you are not able to make it. So, we’re changing the rules: you can sit anywhere you like for this event—your living room couch, a cozy backyard chair, or even on a sunny beach. Sit wherever you are, because your comfort matters.
Stay! We know it takes effort to get out to events—travel, pet sitters, babysitters, outfit planning, food allergies, the list goes on. We’ve solved that, too. Stay home. Skip the extra errands, the uncertain catering, and the traffic. Stay, relax, and enjoy the event from the comfort of your own space.
Support! TCRAS prides itself on being a small but mighty shelter that says yes to the animals who need it most and to the community's needs. We work hard to use the support we receive to provide hope and new beginnings to over 900 animals each year.
But the truth is… times are tough. The number of animals in need is rising. Cruelty, neglect, and veterinary costs are climbing. Meanwhile, this year's funding has struggled to keep up with the animals' needs. We absolutely do not want to have to cut programs, and we want to continue providing for the animals and the community.
By choosing to Sit, Stay, and Support, you are helping us save on event costs and funnel every dollar directly to the animals. Your support keeps kennels open, programs running, and hope alive for the animals who need them most.
From July 25th to August 1st, 2026, we will be hosting an online silent auction full of items you won't be able to live without. Make sure to buy a “ticket” to get access from anywhere you are. If silent auctions are not your cup of tea, or glass of wine, don't worry, you are able to make a donation without getting a ticket, but you might miss something special you didn't know you needed!
Sit where you want, Stay as long as you like, and Support the animals counting on us. Every ticket, bid, and contribution gives Hope and New Beginnings to those who need it most.
When you donate or buy a ticket between
$25 to $50: You are providing vaccines and microchips for 3 animals that come through our doors.
$50-100: You are providing approximatley 40lbs of animal food. This bag can last up to 2 weeks depending on how many animals are being cared for at the shelter.
$100-$250: You are providing food and care for a month for kittens and puppies placed in foster homes as they grow and reach adoption age.
$250- $500: You are providing 4 cat spays or 3 dog spays, helping us get animals ready for their new beginning.
$500- $1000: You are providing 6 training sessions with a professional trainer for shelter dogs. This helps them find a home and stay in a home.
$1000-$2,000: You provide medication to treat sick animals for one month, and provide enough for us to care for healthy animal for one month.
$2,000- $5,000: You keep our CARE House doors open for another month. You also proivde a year's worth of care for one animal while they wait for their new beginning.
