This will be my 10th year participating in the Toledo Area Dravet Walk and my 9th 5K! Living with Dravet is a daily challenge. Dravet seizures can last minutes, hours, or days apart. Sometimes, people living with Dravet have to be given rescue meds or go to the hospital due to the length of time from the seizures. I first heard the word Dravet Syndrome 14 years ago and I've been supporting the family ever since. Cara's the sweetest, most courageous girl I know living with Dravet. This is why I do what I do. For Cara, for her family, for the Toledo Dravet Community, and hopefully, one day, for a CURE!!!!!!!!!
