Welcome to my fundraising page! I have the amazing opportunity to celebrate my birthday running the TCS London Marathon to empower children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Yes, I am turning 30 (again)!
Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. One Step Programs aim to cure the spirit by providing an environment of hope, strength, and empowerment.
I have been volunteering at Camp One Step Programs since March 2009, and can attest to the fact that Camp is a truly magical place/community that changes the lives of children with cancer and their families. It is a place to belong, to make friends that become family, and to have fun like kids should. It is a place where kids with cancer can be kids.
