I’m thrilled to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Team LAS, supporting The Legal Aid Society — an organization I love deeply, and one that is turning 150 years old.

Because apparently fighting for housing justice wasn’t enough cardio.

The Legal Aid Society has spent nearly 150 years standing with New Yorkers when the stakes are highest. Our work reaches far beyond any one courtroom or practice area — providing legal representation and advocacy in criminal defense, juvenile rights, civil legal services, immigration, housing, benefits, family stability, and so much more. Legal Aid shows up for people facing eviction, incarceration, family separation, homelessness, poverty, and injustice — and fights for dignity, fairness, and a city where everyone has rights that are real, not just theoretical.

By day, I’m the Attorney-in-Charge of Legal Aid’s City-wide Housing Practice, where our teams fight to keep New Yorkers in their homes and treated with dignity in housing court.

On marathon day, I’ll be fighting a different opponent: 26.2 miles, five boroughs, several bridges, and my own questionable life choices.
