It is Legal Aid's 150th Anniversary! I turned 50 earlier this year! Lots to celebrate.

I'm thrilled to be out pounding the streets of the best city in the world as part of Team LAS, a fundraiser supporting The Legal Aid Society, my favorite organization in the world!

For 150 years, The Legal Aid Society of New York has stood with immigrants, low-income families, workers and everyday New Yorkers across all boroughs as your partner in justice. From courtrooms to classrooms, sidewalks to city halls, Legal Aid has empowered communities with the tools, voice and representation they deserve. We remain commmitted to reimagining what justice can look like- for everyone.

Our teams at Legal Aid span all five boroughs across practice areas on nearly every area of law that impacts New Yorkers. On November 1, while you're all enjoying an extra hour of sleep, I will be in Staten Island embarking on Team LAS's mission: Justice In Action!
