Voluntarily running 26.2 miles....might as well make it count
I'm running in support of Choroideremia Research Foundation
This fall marks my 6th marathon, and this one feels especially meaningful.
Through a personal connection that felt pretty serendipitous, I’m running in support of the Choroideremia Research Foundation, a nonprofit focused on finding a cure for a rare genetic condition that causes progressive vision loss.
Running is something I choose to do every day. This experience has been a reminder of how much I rely on my vision to do something I love—and how many people don’t have that same privilege.
The foundation is doing important work to fund research and drive progress toward treatments and a cure. Grateful to support a cause like this while doing something that matters to me.
If you’d like to learn more or support, I’d really appreciate it
