On October 11th, I’m running the Chicago Marathon with a purpose beyond just finishing 26.2 miles. I’m raising $3,300 for Erika’s Lighthouse, a nonprofit that provides free depression education and suicide prevention programs to schools across the U.S.
Mental health is very personal to me. Running has helped me manage stress, stay grounded, and build resilience through life’s tougher moments. I believe every child deserves the chance to develop those same coping skills early in life and feel supported through life’s challenges.
