My Why

This cause means a lot to me on a personal level. I've watched my dad and my little sister go through depression, and there were moments I felt completely helpless; like no matter what I said or did, I couldn't reach them. That helplessness is what changed me. It taught me that the earlier you catch this, the more lives you can actually save. That's why I chose Erika's Lighthouse. Their focus on education, awareness, and early intervention is exactly what my family needed back then and didn't have. My goal is to make sure other families get the tools before they hit the breaking point my family hit. Every dollar raised is my way of making sure fewer people have to feel as helpless as I did watching the people I love struggle alone.

We’re proud to provide our high-quality, comprehensive depression education and suicide prevention curriculum to school districts across the country, at zero cost. Every student. Every classroom.
