I am SO excited to share that this October, I’ll be running my second marathon...the Chicago Marathon!!! This one feels extra special because I’ll be running as part of Erika’s Lighthouse, raising money for a cause that I feel so lucky to support. Erika’s Lighthouse is the largest and most impactful school mental health program in the U.S., providing schools across the country with high-quality mental health education and resources that are completely free, helping students better understand their emotions, recognize when they or someone they love may be struggling, and feel empowered to ask for help when they need it. Running has brought so much joy, confidence, strength, and community into my life, and I feel so lucky to use something I love to support the mental health and well-being of students. My goal is to raise $3,000 by September 30th for Erika’s Lighthouse, and I would be SO grateful for any support in helping me get there! Whether that means donating, sharing my fundraising page, or cheering me on as I make my way to Chicago, every little bit means more than you know! Erika’s Lighthouse is a non-profit organization that believes that every student should have the knowledge and tools they need to care for their mental health.
