I’m thrilled to be participating in 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon, a fundraiser supporting Kidney Donor Athletes, Inc.! As many of you know I donated my kidney in March 2021. I have continued to live a full and productive life since donation and am passionate about spreading that message to others. This race is really special for many reasons. 1. My friend Kevin who I donated for currently needs another kidney and I don't have another one to give. What I can do is advocate for others to donate. 2. This race is on the month of March, which is the month of my kidney donation anniversary (& world kidney month). 3. I donated as part of a paired donor chain. My kidney is actually in a random person in the state of NY, where this race is happening! I feel like I was meant to run this race but I need your help to reach my goal. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
