It is hard to believe that this will be the 11th year of our team, The Warriors, participating in the Walk Ahead! A small group of us walked in 2015, then when Bob and I moved to Cincy in 2016, we have been keeping it going - thanks to all of you!!
I geniunely appreciate each person who has walked, donated and/or participated in our after walk gathering.
To each family member - from our family patriarch and my awesome husband Bob down to the two little buddies holding hands throughout the walk (Margo and Harper) - it has been a joy for me each year to see the span of ages in our growing family!!! And we have two little ones since our last walk in Emerson and Scottie. Also, last year (which was a washout), my sister and brother-in-law - Terri and Galen - traveled in from Zionsville for the walk which simply ended in a wonderful visit since the weather didn't cooporate.
To each friend that has contributed to this cause - I thank each and everyone of you! From our friends living here in Cincy to the Cleveland crew - it is such an enjoyable time. I always enjoy the time chatting and catching up during the walk and in our after walk gathering.
You are all so very special and your love and support touches my heart deeply.
I hope that you will consider continuing your awesome support for this important cause. As always, we will be gathering to walk as a team prior to the even near the display quilt and gathering after the walk at our favorite Tusculum hangout, Streetside Brewery.
