Description
Join us for the 2026 Walk for Epilepsy Hillsborough at Al Lopez Park
4810 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614
This inspiring community event brings people together to raise awareness and provide support for children, teens, and adults living with epilepsy, along with their families throughout West Central Florida.
What to Expect at the Walk for Epilepsy
Participants will gather at beautiful Al Lopez Park to kick off a morning of community, encouragement, and fun. When you arrive, look for the feather banners featuring the Epilepsy Services Foundation logo and make your way to the check-in area.
At check-in, you’ll receive a complimentary raffle ticket and have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes. You’ll also pick up your official 2026 Walk for Epilepsy T-shirt before exploring the event area.
Take time to visit our vendor and resource tables, grab some snacks and refreshments, and stop by the raffle prize tent to see what you might win. Bringing a little extra cash is a great idea if you'd like to enter more raffles.
Our emcee, Jason Lanning from Bay News 9, will help energize the crowd and guide us through the morning’s activities. Together we’ll kick things off with a few fun warm-ups before heading out on the walk.
Participants will then take part in a one-mile Walk for Epilepsy, beginning and ending in the main event area. After the walk, we’ll gather back together to announce raffle winners, celebrate our walkers, and recognize the incredible Epilepsy Warriors in our community.
Why We Walk
By participating in the 2026 Walk for Epilepsy, you are helping improve the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy across West Central Florida.
Your registration helps support education programs, support groups, advocacy, and essential resources provided by Epilepsy Services Foundation Inc.
Walk with us to raise awareness, support caregivers, and show our community that no one living with epilepsy has to face it alone.
