In July of 2025 I was diagnosed with Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma. The tumor was found incidentally on an X-ray after a back injury. I am incredibly lucky that it was found in an earlier stage of cancer, as kidney cancer can be symptomless until it advances to a later stage. After my surgery I wanted to connect with other cancer survivors. Wellness House was an amazing resource and connected me to my women’s cancer support group. I consider myself fortunate, but some of the members at Wellness House are on their fourth cancer diagnosis, and continue to fight. They are some of the strongest women I’ve ever known. Wellness House is an incredible resource for anyone on their cancer journey, and it’s so important to me to help raise money to connect people with the resources and support they desperately need after such a devastating diagnosis.
