Some know this, most don't.  In December 2024 I had my 1st colonoscopy- I was 50, so it needed to get done.  No symptoms, but they found a mass- it was cancer.  Met with surgeon, surgery done on February 14th to remove section of colon.  PET scan after, came back clean, biopsied the removed section and they found a tumor outside the colon.  Did 6 months of chemo, finished Oct 2025, have had other tests/MRI's done,  took a blood test and currently no "residual disease" in me.  I feel very lucky that my other scans/tests came back negative.  I had a lot of support from family, friends and co-workers, both of our work circles.  Started working out Jan 1, 2026 to build back up my strength and endurance.  I currently feel great, have a new perspective on life, want to spread love and joy to all around me, and stay vigilant  to minimize risks of illness and cancer.  Please consider donating to this great organization.
