I’m participating in the Walk to Remember in support of the Center for Memory & Movement because this cause is deeply personal to me. I walk in honor of my grandparents, Michael and Margaret Durwin, whose lives and memories continue to hold a special place in my heart. Supporting families affected by Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other memory and movement disorders is more than a community commitment for me—it is a way to honor the people I love and help ensure that other families feel supported, understood, and never alone.
