I’m thrilled to be on the team at National Ataxia Foundation… and now to be participating in the 2026 Xtreme Hike this October, a fundraiser supporting NAF. We will hike from Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon in one day.
If you had asked me a year ago if something like this was even a possibility, I would have said absolutely impossible. In 2022, I had three consecutive back surgeries, only to be followed up by one more to remove my first rib in 2023. I was happy to walk normally again, let alone hike. This October, I will hike for all of the Ataxia patients that don’t have the luxury of recovery, and for myself, for overcoming the epic battles I did in those two years.
If you are able, I’m asking you to support my training journey and October hike with a gift. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts NAF’s ability to support the ataxia community. Each of us are asked to raise at least $10,000 to participate.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small and the collective power of generosity is inspiring!
- Share My Story: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for joining me on this wild ride. I couldn’t have recovered from surgery without all of you – and I can’t do this without you either.
PS – your gift will not only help me and the ataxia community, but your donation is tax deductible!
