I’m thrilled to be participating with my daughter in the 2026 Xtreme Hike on October 8th - 11th, a fundraiser supporting National Ataxia Foundation! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

My Ataxia story is one of suffering and loss, but it is also a story of perseverance and hope. Several members of my family are currently living with Spinocerebellar Ataxia type 1 (SCA1) and 2 thus far in my lifetime have succumbed to it. Most recently, my father, who was the strongest person I've ever known. Though the disease ultimately took him from us, he far exceeded his expected life span, and fought to the very end. A cure never came for my dad, but there is hope still for the rest of my family, and all other's living with SCA.
