For 45 years, Independence Center has stood alongside members of our St. Louis community living with serious mental illness, offering not just a full range of supports, but belonging and purpose. Built on the Clubhouse model of psychosocial rehabilitation, IC connects members to employment, housing, education, health and wellness, and a community that allows them to build truly independent lives. Our Clubhouse is the second largest in the world and exists to fulfill a desire that is fundamental to us all: to be needed, wanted, and expected.
