When my aunt was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, I learned how much a family can want one thing: more answers, sooner. That's what moved me to raise over $3,500 for the American Cancer Society, and now I want to build on that by running the Fairy Tale Challenge for Dragon Master Initiative. It's a nonprofit started by a mother who lost her son David to brain cancer and decided no family should have to wait on research that moves too slowly. They help researchers share data across hospitals, so every patient's story can help the next one, whether it's childhood cancer, brain cancer, or a rare disease.
