Cancer is one of those things that shows up everywhere, but people don’t really talk about it until it becomes personal.
Growing up, I saw what it meant to show up for others. In Vietnam, my dad and his friends would take me to rural schools to donate books, bikes, help pay for tuition, and build small libraries or classrooms. After moving to the U.S., I kept staying involved in my community through high school and college.
But it wasn’t until someone who played a really important role in my growth here passed away from cancer that it felt real to me. What stayed with me wasn’t just the loss, but how many people around them were affected. It made me realize cancer is never just one person’s problem.
That’s why this matters to me.
I’m riding with Texas 4000 to help fund cancer research and support services, so people going through this have better care, more time, and more support.
Over the next year, I’ll be training, fundraising, and biking over 4,000 miles from Austin to Alaska.
If you’re able to support me on this, even a small donation goes directly toward making that impact. And if you can’t donate, sharing this still helps more than you think.
Thank you for being part of this with me. Your support genuinely means a lot.
