Hello, my name is Turo Jolly and I am a graduate student studying acoustics here at UT! 

I am incredibly fortunate to have not been directly impacted by the devastating disease that is cancer. Rather, my inspiration to join this battle has come from witnessing its effects on those around me as well as the incredible strength of previous riders I have known. Having been inspired by leading experts in acoustics, I hope to use my education to research new ways of using ultrasound for diagnosing and treating cancers. 

I ride with Texas 4000 to be one small part of the community spreading awareness of and fundraising for the fight against cancer, and to develop the leadership and outreach skills to remain a lifelong advocate for our mission. I am incredibly excited to begin this journey with the rest of my team.
