About: Hi, my name is Brian! I'm a rising senior neuroscience major who loves to play the clarinet, watch sports, and lion dance. I have lived my whole life in Texas, which is why I'm so excited to bike through the US and Canada from Austin to Anchorage! After graduating from UT, I plan to attend medical school. Why I Ride

I ride with Texas 4000 for Cancer to empower those, affected or unaffected by cancer, to fight for a purpose greater than themselves. Those affected by cancer never get to choose their fight, yet they are a shining example of resilience that motivates us to do more. 

Texas 4000 for Cancer provides us a platform to spread hope, knowledge and charity. We ride to transform our struggle into a tangible lifeline, so those strong fighters never have to carry the weight of their battle alone. 

Fighting for this cause teaches valuable lessons and leadership skills that I hope to carry with me for the rest of my life. By supporting our mission, you are not only fueling a fundraiser, but helping engage communities to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the battle against cancer.
