Hello, my name is Chris Ozuna.

In the spring of 2016, my mother, Karin Corbett Ozuna, lost her 2 and 1/2 year long battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She spent the last decade of her life dedicating everything she could to my sister and I. Her greatest fear from passing was being forgotten by her young children. 

By becoming a part of the 2027 Ride Team for Texas 4000 for Cancer, whose mission is to cultivate student leaders and engage communities in the fight against cancer, I can carry the legacy of my mother and everyone else fighting the same battle she fought all those years ago. During my journey as a rider, I will bike 4000+ miles from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska, inspiring hope and raising awareness at numerous communities along the way and directly financially supporting the fight by raising $7,500+.
