Hi, I'm Cassie : )

My mom always told me I had a guardian angel growing up. When my grandpa died from lymphoma cancer in 2020, he became an angel I look to when I feel lost and reminds me not to take anything for granted. At 20 years old, I am privileged to have a healthy body, a drive for change, a bike, and a team that feels similarly: Texas 4000 for Cancer.

This unique organization serves as a platform for me to uplift others in a community that stays determined, no matter what. I am constantly inspired by the feats of those who battle cancer, the strength of family that extends beyond blood, and by what happens when people come together to fight. The next 12 months will be the most transformative part of my life as I fundraise over $7,500 for cancer research & support services and prepare for the 4000+ mile bike ride from Texas to Alaska. It doesn’t happen all at once, but every dollar, mile, and message accumulate to make powerful impact. By summer 2027, I need to be ready to complete the ride and prove that our resilience is stronger than cancer, so I need all the support I can get.
