Hello! My name is Tyler O'Brien, and in the summer of 2027, I will bike more than 4000 miles from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska as a member of the Texas 4000 2027 Ride Team.

I’ve spent a lot of my life being part of teams that push themselves toward something bigger than any one person. Those experiences have taught me the importance of perseverance, community, and showing up for the people around you. That is a huge part of what drew me to Texas 4000 and its mission to create student leaders and engage communities in the fight against cancer.

Throughout this journey, one idea has continued to stick with me. I want to ride for those who can't. Cancer forces people and their families to face challenges they never chose. Through T4K, I have the opportunity to choose a challenge of my own. I will have to push myself physically and mentally while raising money, awareness, and hope for those affected by cancer.

Over the next year, I’ll train with my team and raise at least $7,500 before setting out for Alaska. Whether you donate, share my page, or simply follow along, thank you for being part of this journey. I’m incredibly excited for the miles, the people, and the stories ahead.
