I'm Sai Shripad Kolluru, a junior Public Health major at UT Austin, and I'm participating in Texas 4000, the longest annual charity bike ride in the world.
Texas 4000 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fighting cancer through fundraising, education, and community outreach. During our ride from Texas to Alaska, we'll visit cancer treatment and research facilities, connect with communities, and spread cancer awareness and hope along the way.
Cancer claims over 10 million lives year after year, and 2 in 5 people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Those numbers aren't just stats; that's our family, friends, neighbors, and community being affected by this disease.
Throughout this ride, I hope to play a small part in creating a future where this disease has less of an impact on this world.
Here's how you can help me make this reality come true:
- Donate: Whether that be $10 or $100, no amount is too small, and every penny makes a difference.
- Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and socials. The more people we reach, the more awareness and support we can build.
Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Whether you donate, share my page, or cheer me on, it means a lot to me!
