I’ve been fortunate not to have lost anyone in my immediate family to cancer, but I’ve watched close friends lose parents and siblings, and I’ve seen how that kind of loss can change someone’s life.

That’s what makes my journey with Texas 4000 so meaningful to me. I’ll be biking 4,000 miles from Austin, Texas, to Alaska alongside others who are committed to the fight against cancer and raising money for cancer research. It’s an opportunity to challenge myself, surround myself with people who care deeply about this cause, and grow into someone who can better show up for the people around me.

Every dollar raised helps extend the impact of the ride far beyond the miles we travel. The money supports cancer research, treatment initiatives, and organizations that provide resources to patients and families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.
