Thank you for visiting my 2027 VCA Walk for the Animals fundraising page!

My heart dog, Taffy, a miniature dachshund, was adopted from a shelter where her pregnant mother was surrendered. I believe that supporting good shelters helps both the animals and the people who love them.

I have been a volunteer here for 26+ years and am in awe of all this shelter does for the animals and the community. From helping TNR groups by neutering cats they have trapped to taking in and healing abused animals, some of which need extensive surgery, this shelter and its very caring staff does it all.

For over 36 years, the VCA Walk for the Animals has been the Humane Society of Broward County’s largest and most impactful annual fundraiser. Your support makes a real difference, every dollar raised helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to the thousands of animals who pass through their doors each year.

By donating to the VCA Walk for the Animals, you’re not just supporting a cause, you’re giving second chances, safe homes, and brighter futures to animals in need.
