As most of you know - I've run the Walt Disney World Marathon each of the last 18 years.  It was the first marathon I ran, and somewhere down the road it will be the last marathon I run.  Across all of these years - I've run for my own gratification (and some nice hardware to hang in the house) but only one time have I looked to run for a cause.  In 2020 I raised money for LLS and it hit close to home as I have a close friend whose son was diagnosed, and while I don't claim that my contribution was the reason - I'm happy to report he is cancer free.  

Now I'm trying to expand that reach and raise money to support The Dragon Master Initiative - which supports big data initiatives to democratize access to research data, improve research data accessibility, and utlimately work towards finding cures for ALL cancers and other rare diseases.

We are all impacted by these horrible diseases - my wife and both of my parents are cancer survivors - but there are so many others that aren't as fortunate.  My running, and you helping me raise money for the Dragon Master Initiative will help get us closer to a cure.
