Why I Run for Team Fired Up
I’ve been working toward my goal of running the 2027 Walt Disney World Half Marathon for over a year. I have been lucky enough to discover Team Fired Up and the Dragon Master Initiative.
Running this race has always been a personal goal, but being able to do it while raising money for cancer-related causes makes it even more meaningful to me. I’ve lost several members of my family to cancer, so this is a cause that is very close to my heart.
I’m excited to take on this challenge not only for myself, but also in memory of the people I’ve lost. Every mile will be a reminder of why I started and why this goal means so much to me.
