My mom was diagnosed a Type 1 Diabetic at the age of 10, and I was diagnosed at the age of 5. I have faced many challenges with this illness but I am happy to say I am doing great and learning how to manage and treat myself daily. Because of diabetes my mom is critically ill and my family has worked to keep me as healthy as possible, to try prevent me having some of the same issues. Last year was my first year going to Diabetes Camp and I loved it! I would really appreciate your support in helping me go to camp this year.
