2023 Heroes Walk for Life

• Make your own donation on your fundraising page--show others how it's done!  Many of your donors will follow your lead and match what you have given.  So, if you're hoping folks will donate $50.00, lead by example.
• Don't be afraid to ask for BIG DONATIONS!  Remember, you are raising funds to save women and babies from abortion and to promote a culture of life--a most worthy cause! So don't ask for just $10.00. In the end, donors will give what they're comfortable giving, but it's always good to set the bar high!
• Make it your goal to ask at least one new person for a donation everyday.  Consistency is the key to being successful!
• Post about the Heroes Walk for Life and your fundraising page. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and other social platforms are passive ways to get the word out about your personal or team fundraising page. Use the Resources on your personal fundraising page. There you will find logos, Walk for Life pictures, and a True Care Patient Story to share.
• Stay positive and keep a fighting spirit!  Not everyone will donate, but that's ok.  The more people you ask, the more donations you will receive.
• Remember--you are asking for money on behalf of hundreds of unborn babies and their moms. So don't feel bad about asking friends, family and co-workers to give.  The worst thing that can happen is they say "no." No big deal!
• Always be polite,thank each and every one of your donors, and ask them to share your page with others.
• Have fun!  If you have the mindset that fundraising is a chore, it will become one.

Dear Friends,

In the next few weeks I will participate in True Care Women’s Resource Center’s Heroes Walk for Life, a fundraising event for one of my favorite ministries. True Care reaches out to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies, offering life-giving alternatives and practical assistance. In addition, this Christian ministry offers the hope of Jesus Christ to each patient.

The walk is Saturday, June 11 at 9:00 am.  I’ll be walking two miles to support True Care. I am looking for friends like you to offer a one-time pledge of $25, $50, $100 or more.
