Junior Achievement gives young people from kindergarten - 12th grades the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. They train willing employees from companies to provide their presence in the classroom. This provides the students a visible and meaningful demonstration of your commitment to education in our community. By sharing their skills and personal experiences, they make learning come to life so children can connect what they learn in school to how it can be applied in the real world. Junior Achievement is committed to developing our youth and their education develops our economy. With your support, proven programs like JA can help produce an educated, qualified workforce that can think critically, solve problems creatively, collaborate and lead, and understand how the economy works. This is now more important than ever before.
My dad was a part of Junior Achievement in St. Louis when he was in 7th grade. He remembers the impact this made on him through his life.
Greenville Federal Credit Union has supported JA for 20 years and believe this program works. Many of our own staff volunteer each year to teach students in the classroom. This is what your donations provide:
$40 1 JA program for 1 Student
$100 JA program materials for 1 class
$500 JA program materials for 1 grade
$750 conducting 1 program for 1 class
$1500 completely funds 2 JA classes
We would appreciate a donation of any amount to help all students. Thank you for your consideration of a donation to JA.
