Fighting against the evil exploitation of infants and children around the world has become an ever-growing burden on the conscience of our family over the past few years. Since making the uncomfortable effort to look into the extent of this wretched industry and the horrors inflicted upon the victims involved, we have been trying to figure out (and continue to) how to get involved in the fight against it. Often an evil so vast and hidden can seem too large for an individual to have a countering impact on. Fortunately there are great local and international organizations that are already on the scene liberating children from this wickedness. Joy International is one such organization.
The mission of Joy International (headquartered in Conifer, CO) is focused on the RESCUE, RESTORATION, and REINTEGRATION of children, teens, and young adults affected by human trafficking. It is focused on the prevention of human trafficking, especially the trafficking of CHILDREN worldwide.
