When I was young, I remember my mother and aunt telling me that my elderly grandfather, living alone in a small apartment in Hamburg, NY, was being served by Meals of Wheels. 

When I moved to Greenville, my church presented Meals on Wheels as an opportunity to serve our shut-in neighbors who were facing hunger and isolation in our community. I immediately thought of my grandfather and felt that I should give back.

I have been pleasantly surprised by how blessed I feel to be able to help some of the most vulnerable people living in my community. They are my neighbors and I'm grateful to be able to help!
