I was in 2nd grade when I have my first memories of meeting someone with special needs - we all wanted to be her helper, push her wheelchair, or sit next to her in class.
As an adult, I met two very special young boys with autism. Me and my sister were nannies to Billy and Mikey. Billy LOVED basketball and sports in general - he could tell you any fact about the NBA. Mikey was a loveable, drama queen. Now that they are adults, it's been amazing to see how they have grown up into amazing young men!
I work for Fraser now, and see the impact we have on the community and families.
