Hearing the diagnosis of “autism” begins the journey to see and learn about life from a unique perspective. According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 68 children have autism. Thousands of Minnesota families are faced with the challenges of navitaging an autism diagnosis each year.

Fortunately, evidence shows early intervention can result in dramatically positive outcomes. Given the right tools and support, those living with autism can make great strides at any point in their lives. As most of my FB friend know, my nephew Blake (more commonly known as Scarman) has Autism.  He (and his sibilngs) have a great support network.  Fraser provided a diagnosis for him, and a framework for his family to begin their journey.  Without organizations like this kids and their families would not receive the services they need, to grow into fantastic people.  We have been doing this walk for years.  It is fun for all.  It is also great for the kids, families, and friends to see they are not alone in their journey.  The services Blake has received has helped him grow and flourish, despite his challenges.  We would love for anyone reading this to join us in the walk, donate, or both.  Please share this with anyone you think may have interest.
